In this episode, Trav gushes about Dark Cloud 2 and shares that he's only ever played Monopoly on the GameBoy. Jake shares a rare gem he's been playing along with Darksiders Genesis. Is Gargoyle's Quest a good NES game? How hard is it to get a Dreamcast to play demo discs? Find out. The episode concludes with a game of the esteemed Bryzamid and it gets a little wild as usual.

In the second episode of DrunkFriend, Alex (SNESdrunk) describes why there are no guests this time around thanks to a technical oopsie and Trav (NESfriend) finds a mysterious rabbit hole in an unexpected place when researching a little-known NES title. There's talk about moose blood, rental stores, arcades, and pesky fighting games here too!

Don't call it a comeback, but Jake and Trav are finally back with a new episode, and they have some stories to tell. Very few of them have to do with actually beating video games though. However, Trav does knock another big one off of the backlog and Jake fires up the Cartridge Club Game of the Month. A discussion of grinding and some wacky mad libs round out the episode.

Trav opens with some deductions about how many games that Jake has beaten since the last episode and he's not far off. The paralysis of choice and how it shapes your taste is the pre-discush, followed by fun game to cap off the episode! 

Well this is a first. Jake has to sit out this latest episode of the cast, and in his stead the usurper Brian (@hokiebriz). Trav and Briz talk about their backlogs and stuff; and they discuss one of their most sacred traditions, Video Geddon. Listen if you want to know what the heck that is. 

What do dreams mean? Why would food chase you? Do you think that dreaming in black and white means anything? Well, one's thing is for sure, Trav and Jake don't know, but in this episode, they have fun trying to decode those elusive dreams. 

So this time Jake and Travis talk about games that they beat (big surprise) and they added to their shame piles. Then they do this thing where they rate how excited they are for some of this year's big releases. They think that we care about that for some reason. Whatever, there's some good jokes. 

With Travis basking in the afterglow of Magfest music is fresh on his mind so this episode's discussion is all about game music. Armed with 5 songs each Jake and Trav share some of the favorite game music, discuss the games that have made their way into and out of their backlog, and more!
