On this episode, Alex (SNESdrunk) and Trav (NESfriend) are joined by Tony Brasel, a long time retro-gaming YouTuber who knows more about Mega Man than the average retro-fan. There's hockey and Stardew Valley talk that completely alienates Trav, there's more hockey talk after that, and there's also some fun Mega Man trivia with Brasel, the expert.

In this episode, Trav gushes about Dark Cloud 2 and shares that he's only ever played Monopoly on the GameBoy. Jake shares a rare gem he's been playing along with Darksiders Genesis. Is Gargoyle's Quest a good NES game? How hard is it to get a Dreamcast to play demo discs? Find out. The episode concludes with a game of the esteemed Bryzamid and it gets a little wild as usual.

There's a new game on this one, well, it's one they actually stole. At the behest of a listener no less! It's pretty fun though, so there's that. Trav and Jake of course talk about their gaming time over the last few weeks and what they are planning to play and beat (lol) in the near future! 

How well do Jake and Trav actually know each other? In this episode, a game of two lies and one truth reveal just how good they are lying. As always, games were beaten, collected, and mused. 

To get in the spooky spirit, Jake and Trav decide to read some video game-centric creepy stories from the Internet. Some are pretty funny, and Travis reads some of them. Jake starts an unexpected RPG and Trav just keeps play little Gameboy games. I guess they count though. Happy Halloween! 

Well Jake's back, not like anyone really missed him. Anyway, this episode sees Trav and Jake eliminating a few games from their backlog: by completing them AND by bracket-style elimination. And there's a pretty wild Target story in there too. 

So, Brian finally makes his way onto the show and gabs along with Jake and Trav about the games they have all played. The discussion is led by the guest and it's all about Virtual Reality! The fact that this episode is coinciding with Ready Player One's theatrical release is completely coincidental. We're not that smart... 

After the long ass episode where Jake and Trav went through all of the best games they played in 2017, Polykill returns with something completely original. I'm kidding this isn't original at all. It's New Year's Resolutions, quaint. Anyway, listen to this thing because it ain't bad really. Also Trav gabs about Magfest.....nerd.

The fifty-third episode of the podcast is all about the classic sitcom Chico and the Man! Just kidding, the topic is sports games, and Jake and Trav try to explain why they no longer play them, and what it would take to play them again. Updates to the backlog are here as usual, and Jake finally nails down his long play.
