Mezcal Mule
2oz Mezcal
1/2oz Lime
3-4oz Ginger Beer
Combine Mezcal and Lime into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake until chilled, top with Ginger beer and strain into a glass filled with ice. Garnish with a lime wheel.
Oaxacan Old Fashioned
2oz Mezcal
1/2oz Simple Syrup
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Combine all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker. Stir until chilled. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Peel a thick strip of orange peel, squeeze zest over cocktail and rub the rim of the glass with the peel. Drop the peel into the cocktail.
