This year we were proud to support the International Association for Suicide Prevention! We met our goal once again and raised just north of $4,000 for the cause. This video captures some of our finest and funniest moments from the event! Thanks to all who participated and contributed!

Behold! A list of my favorite reads of 2024. I’ve pared down the massive list into this sliver of goodness just for you. Not all of these books were released in 2024, but I read them all for the first time in 2024. First, let me address the elephant in the room. I tried hard to make it so each category had an equal number of entries for symmetry’s sake, but I found myself either eliminating something deserving or adding something I wasn’t 100% sure belongs on this list. I’ve come to terms with that, so you have to deal with it. Now, on to the list (sorted by type, in alphabetical order):

It was a mid-summer day like any other. The sun was high in the early afternoon sky. The air carried an easy breeze and the temperature was unseasonably mild. A very nice day. There were no indications of my upcoming perils. But be assured, I was tested this day. A test of my mortality and my morality. Are you a lucky person? I for one think I am. An incurable ass-disease and spotty beard growth aside, I’ve had a lot of luck in my life. Not being born a dung beetle with a particular palate, a tramplable snake in Trav’s backyard or a redhead in the Harry Potter universe is something I’ll always cherish.
